Clean Seats at Vipers Games

Good news.  According to Vipers President John Conrad, the spectator seats will be cleaner at Vipers games in 2010:

We have rectified that [dirty seats] with a program in place to have all the seats cleaned on an everyday basis.

This is according to an email from John Conrad, who was gracious enough to answer a lot of my questions of late, including season ticket questions and concessions questions (more on this later).

And as such, I’ve updated my previous post regarding concerns with dirty seats (I’m sure you can find the old post using the search window, but I don’t see a need to rehash it here).

The product the Vipers will be putting on the field can be debated back and forth, but it’s hard to say anything definitive until the results are measured. The quality of the ballpark experience, however, is crucial for the Vipers and is something it looks like they addressing head-on, right now. This has to be viewed as a positive.
